Norwalk, Conn. (WTNH) - A fire in a pick-up truck sparked a house fire in Norwalk, leaving a family of five displaced.

The fire happened on Knollwood Road around 1am.

When fire crews arrived they found the pick-up truck fully involved and the fire spreading up the side of the house into the second floor bedrooms.

The family was able to make it out safely.

No word on a cause.
